Tambi Jalouqa – Founder & General Partner, Maza Ventures

A passionate product builder and tech innovator, Tambi Jalouqa has spent over a decade shaping the Middle East’s startup ecosystem through his expertise in software engineering, UX design, SaaS development, and venture growth. As Founder & General Partner at Maza Ventures, he invests in visionary founders and high-potential startups across the region, empowering teams that are redefining industries through technology and user-centric design.

Prior to Maza Ventures, Tambi co-founded Propeller, a leading early-stage venture capital firm, where he served as Managing Partner and CEO, backing and mentoring dozens of startups from seed to scale. He also co-founded the Xpand Conference, a regional platform that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and developers to accelerate innovation and ecosystem growth. Earlier in his career, he was the Founding CTO of POSRocket, where he played a pivotal role in building one of the region’s fastest-growing SaaS platforms for POS and retail technology.

Deeply driven by curiosity and craft, Tambi combines his love for developer tools, APIs, and system design with a founder-first investment philosophy. His mission is to help build scalable, globally competitive products from the Middle East.
