A seasoned engineering and energy-sector professional, Satrio Agung Wijonarko brings extensive expertise across professional consultant, Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), project management, and business development within the energy industry. In his current role as Regional Manager (SEA) and Business Development Manager of Energy at SMEC, he leads regional growth initiatives across renewable energy, energy transition, fuels, and power & gas, while ensuring project delivery excellence across cost, schedule, safety, and quality. His leadership combines technical depth with strategic execution to support complex, multi-country energy projects.

Throughout his career, Satrio has played a pivotal role in driving business expansion, managing key clients, and delivering high-impact energy infrastructure projects. His professional background spans renewable energy, power transmission and distribution, oil and gas, energy transition, decarbonization and industrial transformation, supported by strong capabilities in engineering, project management, maintenance planning, rotating equipment, utility systems, TPM, ISO coordination, Certified Energy Management System (EnMS) and continuous improvement initiatives. Alongside his corporate leadership, he actively contributes to the engineering profession as a Senior Professional Engineer, active member and committee at Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (PII), supporting international certification, CPD, and regional engineer mobility programs. He is also actively contributes to professional association like Ikatan Ahli Fasilitas Produksi Minyak dan Gas Bumi Indonesia (IAFMI).

Passionate about knowledge-sharing and talent development, Satrio also serves as an advisory board member and professional lecturer practitioner at leading Indonesian universities, teaching core engineering and energy-related subjects.
