Meet Sandra Youssef – Contracts and Claims Team Leader at Rowad Modern Engineering

Sandra Youssef is a contracts, claims and construction professional who combines a strong technical engineering background with expertise in contract management, claims and dispute resolution. As Contracts and Claims Team Leader at Rowad Modern Engineering, she focuses on contract compliance, risk management, negotiations and resolving complex contractual challenges while supporting successful project delivery. Her experience includes managing contracts for prominent clients such as Emaar, Hyde Park and EIPICO, as well as working with the Ministry of Commerce in Saudi Arabia.

Since joining Rowad Modern Engineering, Sandra has progressed from Senior Contract Engineer to Contracts and Claims Team Leader, handling both pre-award and post-award contractual activities. She has prepared, drafted and negotiated claims, issued more than 500 formal letters across multiple projects, conducted site visits and proactively addressed project issues. She has contributed to the successful handover and closure of two mega projects while currently supporting more than five projects.

Sandra’s career also includes experience as a Contract Specialist and Technical Office Engineer at MORGAN Design & Consultancies, along with earlier technical office experience covering shop drawings, fabrication submittals, RFIs and engineering deliverables. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture in Landscape and Architecture from Ain Shams University and a Diploma in Contract and Legal Aspects in the Construction Industry (CLAC) from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. She is also a PMP®, PRMG®, CLAC® and NIGSD® professional, reflecting her commitment to project management, contracts and sustainable construction practices.
