Meet Dr. Ibrahim Sobh – Senior Expert of AI at Valeo Group

Dr. Ibrahim Sobh is an AI and software development expert with 25 years of experience spanning artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, software engineering, and research. Currently serving as Senior Expert of AI at Valeo Group, he contributes to the development of innovative AI applications, drawing on deep expertise in reinforcement learning, natural language processing, speech processing, and computer vision.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sobh has held progressive technical and leadership roles across industry, research, and academia. At Valeo, he previously served as Senior Chief Researcher in Deep Learning, while his earlier experience includes Machine Learning Solutions Consultant at OMS and Research and Development Associate and Project Manager at King Saud University. His long-standing career at RDI progressed from Software Engineer to R&D Team Leader, Project Manager, and Vice MD/R&D Manager, reflecting his extensive experience in technology leadership, research, and project development.

Dr. Sobh holds a PhD from Cairo University specializing in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning, as well as an MSc in Machine Learning and Automatic Document Summarization, graduating with Excellent. Alongside his professional work, he contributes to the AI community through research, publications, patents, training, and academic and industry lectures. His professional development also includes specialized certifications in areas such as prompt engineering and TensorFlow Lite.
