With more than 23 years of experience in luxury hospitality across the Middle East, Africa, and India, Eddy Tannous is a distinguished hospitality executive with extensive expertise spanning operations, revenue management, sales and marketing, commercial strategy, and hotel development. As Chief Operating Officer at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation, he provides strategic leadership across the operational performance of Rotana’s diverse portfolio, focusing on operational excellence, financial strength, service quality, and sustainable organizational growth across multiple markets and brands.

Throughout his career, Eddy has held senior leadership positions with some of the world’s most recognized hospitality organizations, including Rotana, Accor, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Before joining Rotana, he managed Accor’s entire portfolio in Saudi Arabia, overseeing more than 40 operating hotels and 40 pipeline projects, involving approximately 14,000 hotel keys and 50,000 employees. As Vice President of Operations for Accor’s Luxury Division across the Middle East, Africa, and India, he established and led a Hotel Openings Support team that contributed to the launch of 20 properties. His earlier leadership at Fairmont included roles as General Manager, Executive Director of Operations, Director of Operations, Director of Rooms, and Director of Sales & Marketing, giving him comprehensive experience across virtually every dimension of hotel management.

Known for his strategic vision, operational discipline, and strong focus on guest experience, Eddy has consistently delivered transformation across complex hospitality environments. During his tenure at Fairmont Dubai, he successfully led major renovation and hotel-opening initiatives, while his commercial leadership helped the property navigate the 2009 financial crisis and achieve global recognition, including Hotel of the Year and Sales Team of the Year awards within Fairmont. He is also a regular speaker at hospitality conferences and serves as an organizing board member of the Future Hospitality Summit. Eddy holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Notre Dame University - Louaize, complementing his extensive executive experience with a strong foundation in financial and business management.
